There is a lot to do at Skelly's during our fall season. From young children to the young at heart, we have something for the whole family. Our farm does not have any haunted attractions, but we still have plenty of fun for the whole family. Our fall season starts in the middle of September and runs through Halloween.

We do not charge an admission fee to our farm. Some individual activities are free, and some require tickets.

Corn Maze:
Since 1998, Skelly's has hosted a corn maze each fall. Your maze wristband is good for both of our corn mazes to cover every level of adventure on over 15 acres of corn mazes.

Each year our maze has a new theme and friendly scarecrows in the maze help guide and tell a fun story. This maze is a great activity for families. While it takes most visitors about 45 minutes to do the entire maze, you can exit half way through or take a break. This maze is designed to be fun with a little challenge, but most visitors can find their way out without getting too lost. This year’s maze theme is Pirates of the Corn Maze.

Farmer Jack's Wagon Rides:
Not Just a Wagon Ride! Revamped for even more fun in 2015, our Choose-A-Farm-Adventure rides are unique to Skelly's. Along the ride follow the story and antics of Farmer Jack as he is a secret agent trying to save the world. Depending on how you vote changes what happens in Jack's adventure. This adventure is unlike any other wagon ride in the country. Rides last about 20-25 minutes. Appropriate for all ages! Your wagon wristband is good for unlimited rides all day as you discover all of Jack's adventures. Note: The wagon ride does not stop in the pumpkin patch. All pumpkins are within a short walking distance of our barn.

Pumpkin Cannon & Slingshot:
Our awesome pumpkin slingshot is now even better with our pumpkin cannon! With the press of a button or the pull of a slingshot, you can send mini pumpkins, gourds, or apples sailing through the air across our field! This farm activity is just as fun to watch as it is to shoot. Hit a target and you could win a prize.

Free Activities:

The A-Mazing Obstacle Race:
Is it a maze or is it an obstalce course? It's both with this giant activity. Race a friend or play solo as you navigate this maze and completing the obstacles. Ring the three bells on the way to the finish.

Ducky Derby:
Pump these old fashion water pumps and watch your ducky float away. The first duck to the end of pipe wins! Kids, watch out: mom and dad might have so much fun they will never want to go home. This activity is a blast for all ages.

Playground:
Come and play on our totally unique and awesome playground. Every age can have fun driving our bus, sailing the pirate ship, defending the castle, or even pretending to be the Skelly wagon ride driver. Or, try out the giant silo chute slide!

Corn Box:
Who needs sand when you have corn? Younger children love our 'corn toys' giving a unique farm adventure.

Farmer Fred's Rockin' Barnyard:
These giant rocking animals are fun to ride and sized for any age.

Right Turn Only Maze:
This maze looks easy until you realize that left turns are not allowed. Located between our two corn mazes, this maze will frustrate you as you literally go in circles trying to find the exit.

Magic Number Maze:
This unique puzzle takes mazes to a whole new level. Navigate our grid of blocks moving the number of blocks based on the block on which you stand. It only takes 12 moves to complete, but this maze is a challenge!

Pumpkin Checkers:
Play some life size checkers using orange and white pumpkins as the checkers. Walk around on our giant checkerboard as you challenge a friend to this fun farm twist to checkers.

Pumpkin Cornhole:
Have fun with the Skelly version of tailgating on our special pumpkin faced bags boards.

 

 

We are located about 3 miles southwest of Janesville's Rockport pool just off Hwy. 11. From Janesville: Take Court Street west out of Janesville. About 1/2 mile after you are out of town you come to Hwy 11. Turn left onto Hwy 11. Go about 1 1/2 miles to Hanover Rd (the first crossroad). Turn right on Hanover, go 1/8 mile, turn left onto Hayner, go about 1 more mile. From Beloit: Take Afton Road (County D) north to Tripp Road. Turn left onto Tripp, go 3/4 miles, turn right onto Hayner, go 1/2 miles. From south (Rockford, Chicago) or north (Madison): Take I-90 to Janesville, exit at Hwy 11 west. Follow Hwy 11 for about 5 miles, and turn left onto Hanover Road. Go 1/8 mile, turn left onto Hayner Road, go 3/4 mile and farm is on the left hand side. From west (Brodhead, Monroe): Take Hwy 11 east toward Janesville. Follow the bypass and exit right onto Hanover Road. Go 1/8 mile, turn left onto Hayner Road, go 1 mile. Farm is on the left hand side. From north (Madison): Take I-90 East, exit at Hwy 11 West. Follow Hwy 11 west for about 5 miles, and turn left on to Hanover Road. Go 1/8 mile, turn left onto Hayner Road, go 1 mile and farm is on the left hand side.
