Thrilling, heart-pounding, gut-wrenching adventure awaits… Walk through the scariest haunted house in Minnesota filled with terrors and dark entities that roam the hallways. The Haunting Experience is home to the longest-running hayride in Minnesota. Jump onboard and scream for your life as you pass through the haunted forest and the horrors of Wilhelm Steelworks. Beware of the maniacs and monsters that lurk along the tractor trails, waiting for their next victim.

We are located in between Cottage Grove and Hastings on the northbound side of historic Highway 61. Twenty minute drive from the Twin Cities. Our driveway is on the highway - do not take Kimbro Ave S.

    We went for the daytime paintballing and corn maze and it was fun. Kids did love it very much. A truly excellent and exciting experience for the family.

  • Lots of scary monsters

    Lots of scary monsters and creatures to make you scare you scream. Hayride was easy comparatively. The house was extremely scary. It was longer and more intense on a lights out night.

  • Wonderful time

    It’s been my second time here. It is the same experience but the what I got to see was different this time. Thanks to the team for having given such a wonderful haunt. You have hayride, haunt house, and a day time corn maze and paintballing. Each has its own way of creating a good scare. The set design increases your anticipation and that in itself creates a lot of fear in you.

  • Keep up the great work!!!

    A truly terrifying experience! The hayride and haunt house were about an hour and had terrors lurking in all corners. The hayride was wonderful with exciting scenes throughout. The haunted house with winding corridors and gruesome scenes. Keep up the great work!!!

  • Props are superb

    It was a good show by the crew. We got a free popcorn while waiting in the line. There was food and drink and other entertainment going around as we were waiting. The haunts were great. The hayride was superb. The tractor ride along the rail with so many awesome scenes all around was superb. The actors chased you, try to make you jump out and even have make you laugh. The house was replete with fear. The noises, visuals and the props are superb.

  • Absolutely terrifying

    Not for the fainthearted. The hayride was absolutely terrifying. I had a lot of screaming from the unexpected scares. The haunted house was so scary and interactive. 5 Stars.

  • A real thrilling venture...

    Hayrides, haunt houses and corn mazes are the most common events during the Halloween season. You will find them in almost every attraction. The difference is of course in the kind of scares and the themes used. I can say that this haunt did a good job of creating a lot of difference and it was really great. Scary with a good mix of humor. recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill!
