This park was established in 1952 on the site of a Mississippian settlement from the 10th-13th centuries. Many eerie things are said to have been seen and heard around the site's earthen mounds. Many believe the mounds are haunted by the spirits of the anicent people who once resided here.

I've been here 3 times, 2 nights being pretty dead and the 3rd being very eerie feeling. We had a group of 8 and everyone of us saw orbs floating in the field, we were skeptical so we walked closer towards the forest and saw the orbs more distinctly and everybody got creeped out and decided to leave
