This pub was closed for a few days for renovations after it was purchased by new owners in 2008. At this time is when eerie things supposedly began to happen, including bar stools being knocked over, electrical items acting up and apparitions. A paranormal investigation took place here and it brought up the fact that a former owner was murdered here. The ghost is said to still linger the building to this day, which is why the bar was renamed to include "Ghost" in honor of the resident haunt.
