Legend says that a young girl named Nola was the first to ever be buried at this cemetery. Some believe her ghost lingers here to this day.

  • Not the creepiest / Not the worst

This is a pretty tame cemetery for the creepy factor. The cemetary in Fifield ( about 4 miles from this one ) has a creepier vibe plus it also has a small pet cemetery...which is cool. The name of that cemetery is; Forest Home Cemetery. I didn't really "feel" anything at Nola but I did take some really cool pictures.

  • Some of it is true

Don't know if I buy the haunted part but the first person buried in this cemetery was Nola Dell Blackburn. She was a childhood friend of my grandmother and died at a very young age. Grandma said Nola was a nice little girl so if she does haunt the place, she probably does so in a very kindly way... :)
